Dream # 20

Leavenworth Apt. - getting ready for work - 8mm films stacked by shower, and betamax tapes - i notice some of them are getting wet - and i try to dry them with a towel. this is making me late. judy is rushing me and giving me a hard time - then i am downtown trying to get a breakfast burrito from mcdonald's - and by then i am really late. blaming myself for not being able to wake up earlier.

walking along market street with a pile of belongings - my mom, judy and mikey are in my old ford escort - they have been looking for me - i am in my pajamas. they slow down and when i try to pick up my stuff - i am "taking too long" and it pisses them off. i pick up the front of the car and angle it on the sidewalk. the back part of the car is still on the street. i am trying to keep them there - until i get myself together. mom - "i came back from florida for this?" - i am hoping they won't leave, but they take off and then i am chasing after them. i have to wait to cross market st., they are driving down to the corner but am stopped in traffic. then as i near them, they are gone. then i am walking on larkin st. by the old library, crying, carrying my things, still in my pajamas.
