Dream # 42

in apartment which is upstairs from an old victorian theater, which has large windows that open out. there is a contest on the radio to decorate the living spaces in the building, "we" try but later someone trashes the unit and "we" are scrambling to repair it. judy drops me off at a deli to work. she is supposed to go home and then return to pick me up later. there is no answer when i call her. later, she arrives with two men in her car (it is a convertible). the car is double-parked. this is on hyde street near bush in the City. a black girl tries to get in her car as well. one of the two men leaves. "tl - get out of here" - i give judy a pillow - she drives off with the one remaining man - my roomates are with me standing on the street

i talk to mom & dad about the new apartment - i am not sure i want it - it's filthy- typical unkempt household of men - i have two male (white) room-mates.
